Human Stem Cell Engineering Laboratory
The Human Stem Cell Engineering Lab aims to unravel human development and disease at the molecular and cellular level, as well as to develop therapies aimed to treat degenerative diseases.
Main research focuses include:
- Directed Differentiation of human pluripotent stem cells to cardiovascular, blood, brain, and pancreatic cell lineages.
- Genome engineering and editing (CRISPR-Cas9) of human pluripotent stem cells for disease modeling
- In-vivo tissue engineering with Human Ventricular Progenitor cells
- Biomanufacturing Human Pluripotent Stem Cells for therapeutic applications
